Making Fresh Pasta: a Surprising Taste of Authentic Tuscany
A good friend, and sophisticated traveler, recommended the fresh pasta cooking class at Le Logge del Vignola and mentioned it was the most fun he had while in Tuscany. With such a bold statement, how can you not immediately book a reservation?
We were warmly greeted by Massimo and the head chef at 9:30am. After some espresso and brief overview of the agenda, we were ready to dive in making fresh pasta.
Everything was organized and flowed nicely for a morning class. Massimo walked us through the entire handmade process of making pasta and we all were completely engaged. The head chef was there to assist while also demonstrating proper techniques for each step. It was impressive watching him work. They are a tremendous team and are able to maintain the excitement of your group from the moment you walk in until you leave with a smile.
Learning to make pasta was exciting, but cutting the pasta into desired styles and making the ravioli was my favorite part of the class. The chef cooked our fresh pasta and served with their traditional sauces. It was delicious. Massimo paired our lunch with a nice glass of Rosso. I could not have been happier with the cooking class and would highly recommend it!
If you return for lunch or dinner the day of your class, you receive a discount on your meal. Don’t hesitate, make your reservation.
